  • Learning Support Assistant (with Autism Specialism)

    Princethorpe College

    Required for September 2026, for maternity cover, we are seeking a Learning Support Assistant, with a specialism in Autism, to work flexibly as part of a team to support pupils who have Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).

    The person appointed is expected to have an inclusive approach to teaching and learning and will work collaboratively with subject staff in the classroom. This will primarily be supporting learners in Years 7-13.

    This is an excellent opportunity to join our growing Foundation that values its staff and offers a rewarding benefits package enrolment in the Teachers' Pension Scheme (or a competitive alternative if preferred) and an Employee Assistance Programme that includes various benefits such as a cycle to work scheme.

Opportunities at Princethorpe College

From time to time we look to recruit additional teaching and support staff in the following areas:

  • Exam Invigilators – to assist in the smooth running of internal and public examinations
  • SEND support staff – for in-class, small group and one-to-one work with pupils
  • Cover Teaching Staff – being part of a team available for short-term and long-term supply work
  • Games Coaching – to assist with our wide-ranging sports programme
