    Princethorpe College

We are excited to offer Dance as a new subject at Princethorpe College from September 2024. The aim is to establish it as a flourishing option within the KS4 examined curriculum, while exploring possible development of the subject at KS5 in future years.

We would welcome applications from professionals with relevant teaching or coaching experience, in particular individuals with a sporting/dance background or a performing arts/theatre background. We would also welcome applications from ECT’s who have the ability to offer the subject at the required level.

This role will be for a minimum of 10 hours per week, spread across at least three days per week, if not five days. There is scope to offer dance within the wider Games and Activities programme, on top of curriculum time. To be discussed further at interview.

This will be a fixed term contract for the first two years, at which point we will evaluate the programme and responsibilities of the postholder to ensure it reflects the growth and direction of the subject area.

Potential candidates are strongly encouraged to visit the school’s website www.princethorpe.co.uk for more information about our thriving School, which offers a rich curriculum and strong sense of community.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a Foundation that values its staff and offers a rewarding benefits package including discounted places for staff, a pension scheme and a cycle to work scheme.

Application: To apply for this vacancy applicants must submit a Princethorpe College application form, together with a CV and covering letter detailing personal qualities, experience and how you meet the person specification for the role.
