    Princethorpe College

    We are seeking to recruit an experienced, motivated and enthusiastic IT Engineer to join our IT Support Department. 

    Working as part of a team, the successful candidate will provide first-line IT support to our staff and pupils throughout the Foundation. Listening and engaging, you’ll resolve issues and escalate to Managers when appropriate.

    This is an all-year-round role for 20-hours per week. Core hours are 9.00am to 5.00pm, Monday to Friday, and agreement on specific hours to be worked will be agreed upon appointment. However, due to the nature of the role, there is a requirement to occasionally work outside normal working hours and these hours can be claimed as time off in lieu.

    There is an opportunity to combine this role with that of Digital Transformation Leader for the right candidate, also at 20 hours per week.

     

    The salary range is D5 to D8 of the Princethorpe Foundation Salary scale, £22,971 to £23,868 based on full-time equivalent. (Actual salary will be £12,251 to £12,729 per annum) by negotiation, depending on qualifications and relevant experience. 25 days holiday per annum plus bank holidays.

Opportunities at Princethorpe College

  • Exam Invigilators – to assist in the smooth running of internal and public examinations
  • SEND support staff – for in-class, small group and one-to-one work with pupils
  • Cover Teaching Staff – being part of a team available for short-term and long-term supply work
  • Games Coaching – to assist with our wide-ranging sports programme
